North Atlantic Fish Company Founded becoming the 11th approved USDC plant in the United States.

Blue Sea Company founded by the Zaffiro family.
1964
Channel Fish Co. started as a frozen subsidiary to Blue Sea.
1969
Channel Fish begins doing business with the d'Entremont Family of Nova Scotia, Canada.
1975
Channel Fish Co. purchased by cousins Roy and Johnny Zaffiro, the second generation of the Zaffiro family.
1984
Cousins Roy Zaffiro and John Zaffiro merge Blue Sea and Channel Fish Co, becoming the only company on the eastern seaboard to process both fresh and frozen fish in the same location.
1999
Channel Fish moves to new facility @ 18 foodmart road located in Boston’s New Food Market.
2011
Channel Fish receives multiple 3rd party safety certifications, including SILLIKER and BRC.
2012
Channel Fish acquires North Atlantic Fish Company in Gloucester, MA.
2013
Channel Fish receives National Processing Agreement W/ USDA.
2015
Channel Fish scores a AA (Double A) rating on the 2015-2016 BRC Audit.
