How We Process our Fishes

Processing fish the right way is crucial to maintain its quality, flavor, and safety. Our process begins immediately after we make the catch, we make sure to keep our fish on ice right away to keep them fresh. Once they arrive at our processing facility, the first thing we do is sort them out by size and species. After that, it’s time for descaling, gutting, and washing to get rid of any impurities.

Depending on what we’re aiming for, we might filet the fish, can them, smoke them, or prepare them in other ways. It’s crucial that we keep everything cold during these steps to stop bacteria from growing and to keep the fish as fresh as possible. Once we’re done with processing, we package the fish under super clean conditions and they’re good to go. We’re on top of every step to make sure we’re following food safety rules and to make sure we’re giving our customers the best quality fish.
