In recognition of Veterans Day, we would like to honor the service and contributions of one of our key staff members, Paul, our Business Support Manager. Since his hire four years ago, Paul has taken on an increasing number of responsibilities. He began as an HR Manager, built the HR program at CFP, and has been promoted into his current role as a Business Support Manager, working across the company to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Prior to beginning his career at CFP, Paul retired from the U.S. Army and his work as a soldier and Active Guard Reserve member. In his final position with the Army, he was a member of a small, 14-person team responsible for the pay, benefits, operations and training of over 600 National Guard service members in his unit. Motivated to find a position that offered growth opportunities, he decided to join CFP.
Paul’s military service and the complexities of supporting a large team alongside a small group of colleagues prepared him well for his position at CFP. Each day at CFP, a family-owned and operated company, is different. Priorities shift in response to the requests of our customers, demands of the production schedule, and operational conditions. With Paul’s inherent leadership abilities and positive and unflappable nature, he rises to meet the needs of the organization and regularly goes above and beyond to ensure vendor relationships are strong and the facility is operating efficiently.
We are proud of the contributions Paul has made to our country, to the multiple locations where he has been deployed, and to the success of Channel Fish Processing.
