A Holiday Baked Haddock
If you know your guests love the buttery, flakey topping that comes with haddock, prepare a baked haddock on Christmas Eve. Season the topping to your liking, with salt, pepper, garlic, and spices. Pair with asparagus, Brussels sprouts, squash, or zucchini. Serve with rice pilaf and plenty of lemon wedges on the side.

Seasonal Mussels
Serve mussels in a white wine sauce, a red tomato sauce, a ginger sauce, or a lemon sauce. Depending on your crowd and what you’re in the mood for, steam your mussels with lemon, garlic, and herbs. Use the broth for extra dipping on the side, and remember to keep a plate out for the empty shells.

Lobster
Though it may seem like a summertime meal, lobster is a holiday favorite and a wintertime comfort. Prepare the lobster meat on top of a bed of salad, or steam the lobsters whole for some fun with cracking open the shells. Whether you like lobster dipped in butter or tossed in mayo, it’s a decadent treat that holds a strong place at the holiday dinner table.

Shrimp Cocktail and Scampi
Shrimp is your holiday staple. Use shrimp in a number of recipes around the holidays. Shrimp cocktail is an awesome appetizer, and your guests will enjoy it dipped in a homemade cocktail sauce. Make yours with crushed tomatoes or ketchup, horseradish, lemon, lime, salt, and pepper. Add hot sauce if you want an extra kick. When making shrimp scampi, add shrimp to a bed of linguini tossed in alfredo sauce. Make your own stovetop alfredo sauce with heavy cream, parmesan cheese, flour, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
